Biography
Kristina Sargent was born in Maryland, and after traveling the world with family in her youth, she returned to Maryland in 2000. After graduating high school and completing a few years of college, Kristina joined the United States Army, and completed over 15 years of active and reserve time. She served on several overseas deployments and stateside tours before being honorably discharged in 2020. While in the Army, Kristina received her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and her master's and Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore. While at the University of Baltimore, Kristina argued an appellate case at the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and helped start the first Veterans Docket in the state at the Baltimore City District Court. After graduating from law school, Kristina worked as a prosecutor in the Baltimore City States Attorney's Office for over 5 years. Kristina's experience as a prosecutor provided her with invaluable experience on how to successfully defend cases and negotiate with the prosecution . Kristina continued her prosecutorial career in Sarasota and Manatee County. In April 2023, Kristina joined the Law Office of Colleen M. Glenn to continue her zealous advocacy by defending people who have been charged with criminal offenses. Kristina has excelled in the courtroom due to her personal experience with the law, litigation skills and military ethics. This combination has made her a respected and experienced trial attorney. Kristina is very active in her local community and is a member in several local organizations and clubs.
